Ernest entered  the Service from Fresno, California in March 3, 1941 with service-number # 19002190.

 

Ernest died of Wounds during a Japanese attacked on Clark Field, Philippines, on Dec. 12, 1941, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Ernest is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
