Joseph died no record, on a Renaissance mission to Mindanao, the plane crashed in the Visayan Sea on Dec. 12, 1941, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal,  American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.
