Stanley enlisted the service in Maine with service number # 0-098621.

 

Stanley died on board the USS Oklahoma, when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, on, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Expeditionary Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

William is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu County, Hawaii U.S.A.
