Jobe entered  the service from California with service-number # 5650319.

 

Jobe was KIA when the USS Ommaney Bay was Struck and Scuttled by a Kamikaze, on Jan. 4, 1945,  is honored with a  Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Jobe is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
