James  entered  the Service from Texas in March 17, 1940 with service number # 3562521.

 

James was KIA on the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbour on Dec. 7 1941, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Expeditionary Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

James is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.

And he is also mentioned at the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.

He also has a Memorial Grave at City of Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, USA.
