Earl entered  the Service from Maine with service number # 6146927.

 

Earl was KIA during the Days of the Japanese occupation of the Philippines as a POW, on May 7, 1942, he is honored with a POW Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Earl is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
