Robert  died  of wounds in the Hills from Saipan on. July 7, 1944, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge,  Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Robert is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
