Vincent was KIA when the USS Wasp was under attack from the Japanese Sub. I-19 who fired 6 Torpedoes and 3 exploded, this and other Damage made the ship sink, south of Guadacanal on Sep.15, 1942, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asian-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Vincent is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu County, Hawaii U.S.A.
