Michael was born  on 1919 in Fitchburg, Worcester County, Massachusetts.

 

Father, Pasqual Adorizzi.

Mother, Rosina Addorizzi.

Sisters, Sarah, Josephine and Antonetta Addorizzi.  

Brothers, Frank R. and Joseph Addorizzi.

 

Michael entered  the service from Massachusetts in July 10, 1940 with service-number # 2125780.

 

Michael was KIA  when the USS Reid was struck by a Kamikaze and Sunk, near Surigao Strait, Philippines, on Nov. 12, 1944, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Michael is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
