Dale enlisted the service in Oregon with service number # 39324903.

 

Dale was KIA in the attacked on San Pablo Airstrip on Dec. 6, 1944, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, Parachutist’s Badge,  Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Dale is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Manila, metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
